Boudoir photoshoot in Paris with the Ballerina
When my dear friend Christ Nemes from Zen Films called me to tell me he was about to create an amazing film featuring The Ballerina, Brittany Cavaco, I couldn’t hold back from my excitement.
A team of crazy souls were going to be under the same roof (my Parisian boudoir studio) for a week creating art with Paris as a canvas, ready to let all the ideas flow. I was in for the adventure!
The brilliant make-up artist Onorina Jomir joined the project and voilà, an amazing boudoir photoshoot took place at the same time the film was being produced.
Saying The ballerina was an absolute trooper, wonderful to work with, super talented and extremely sweet are understatements. Really, woooooowwwww, she’s just insanely cool.
I couldn’t be more proud of these photos and what we achieved together.
Photoshoot with Parisian architecture
We started by picking up some outfits The Ballerina brought all the way from the US. Then Onorina got inspired by the clothing and created the perfect make up to go with it, and off we went. Janine (my wonderful assistant and student), The Ballerina and I strolling the streets of Paris.
We started our Paris photoshoot at Palais Royal, one of my favorite locations of the city. This place has the perfect mixture of wonderful traditional French architecture with gardens and a twist of modern art. It fitted perfectly well the ambience I wanted to show: The wonderful ballerina in a Parisian landmark, different than the Eiffel Tower, where the flow of her contemporary movements contrast the old building structure.
Paris photoshoot with this wonderful musician
Afterwards we went for a walk and decided to go to the rive side. With the Pont Neuf (the oldest bridge in the city) in the background, we continued our Paris photoshoot. We used a piece of fabric to create a flowy feel and let the Ballerina do what she does best, dance. The outcome was pure magic.
Boudoir studio in Paris
Later we went to my boudoir studio in the heart of “Le Marais” (one of the most vibrant areas in Paris) where we started our boudoir photoshoot.
These intimate images are all about femininity and sensual elegance.
Next we moved to the bedroom where we played with the sheets in a messy bed and some typical Parisian pastries.
Milk bath for our boudoir photoshoot
And finally we created a milk bath with just one flower. I wanted to keep it simple and let The Ballerina shine, sometimes less is more and I think this was the case.
I want to thank deeply this amazing team of creatives for making it so fun. Our food delivery dinners, our long conversations and exchange of ideas have been some of the highlights of the year. Without each of our incredible talents this would not have been possible.

17 February, 2019 3:39 pmHello Stacy, Thank you so much for your comment. Yes, my idea when I do boidoir is to give my clients a true Parisian experience where they can have portrait session around Paris and more intimate shots in the boudoir session. I think is the perfect combination. You can see the full gallery here: http://gloriavilla.pic-time.com/-20181018theballerina
