Bali Wedding with Hanri Human

Bali Wedding with Hanri Human

Bali Wedding with Hanri Human

When my friend Hanri Human talked about this Bali wedding over the phone a few months ago, I couldn’t hold my emotion. Let me put you in context here.

I was in Paris working with my lovely couples and my boudoir photography as usual.

Summer was hectic, days were super long and I was enjoying myself meeting clients from all over the world who come to Paris to do their boudoir pictures, their engagement photo shoots or to get married in the city of lights.

But then I receive this phone call from the one and only Hanri Human. She’s not only a genius in what she does (Yes! She’s one of the best photographers I know), but also a dear friend whom I love, respect and admire.

In her usual exiting tone she asked if I was available for the first 2 weeks of October and if I was interested in shooting this amazing Bali wedding with her. I had to move some appointments here and there but I made sure I could make it and and jump into the adventure.

Hanri is one of the most fun, positive and driven people I know and doing a girls trip out of our Bali wedding was a chance not be missed.

Now let me tell you about this Bali wedding because it was just Epic!

Josh is from Australia and Erin from South Africa, they’re not only a beautiful couple, they’re also kind, sweet and madly in love. So, there you have it!

The perfect recipe for the perfect wedding in paradise.

I’m super excited to share this wonderful Bali wedding with you and I’ll let the images tell you the rest of the story.

We met at the Marriot hotel in Seminyak – Bali, the night before the wedding and the family welcomed us like we were part of them. We sat by the pool drinking cocktails and got to meet their lovely personalities. Finally we went to get some rest and prepare for the big day.

The stationary was inspired by the colors of the tropical island and all the photos were styled with typical Balinese elements.

The day of the wedding was pure magic, Bali is just a perfect location to get married and to be inspired. The venue was absolutely gorgeous, the food was incredible and everything went according to plan.

The ceremony took place during sunset by the beach, giving the photos a magical color palette. Different shades of blues and greens made truly memorable pictures.

The wedding reception was perfect, the tables were beautifully arranged and when the night came, the ambience got really fun a beautiful.

I also wanted to send a big thank you to Sonya Olivier, our fellow photographer who’s just a young and positive spirit.

She’s was shooting video and some behind the scenes pictures, and she was a key element to make the day fun and amazing.
